Please list as much information as you can remember as regards to your ancestors. The more information that you can give us now, the more time we can devote in looking for the "unusual facts" that crop up in our researches. - most people can list their grandparents with some approximation of their births, deaths and marriages, if this is not possible give us all you do know.

We can if necessary begin with your own date of birth/marriage but this restricts the amount of research time. Information that you can obtain from some of your relatives will help this process.

You will be surprised at what little snippets of information that are gleaned from your elder relatives which will enhance the overall look of this project. Things like "Uncle Fred was killed in the 1st World War" or as in our case my great grandfather was said to be a Sea Captain - our researches uncovered that he was a Ferryman on the River Trent.
